The CWD Vision
My goal has always been about creating patterns and courses for handbags and wallets that will teach you techniques and skills that you can use over and over again in a myriad of different bag making projects so that you can make beautiful professionally finished accessories. I like to ensure everything I do is very detailed so that you aren't left scratching your head wondering what to do.
I started designing my own bags after struggling with a pattern which was so poorly written it took me days to decipher the first steps! I vowed at that point to learn everything I could about making bags so I could write patterns that are comprehensive and complete and back that up with second to none support throughout your project.

Founder & CEO
I'm totally addicted to every aspect about designing handbags and wallets and running the business. I wear many hats including bag pattern designer, photographer, videographer, set designer and lighting coordinator, webmaster, office manager, bookkeeper, blogger, marketing and social media management. Have I forgotten any? LOL!
I am living in Australia with my husband, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 3 cattle and a duck. I have two adult daughters and a grandson. When I am not working, I am caring for my elderly mum who lives with us and my dad who is battling Alzheimer's and lives in a nursing home. Life is a challenge! I could do with more hours in the day....or no sleep. I tried that BUT unfortunately that didn't work!
Hi, I’m a seamstress, in the beginning self taught, but with an inherent ability from my mum I believe.
Sewing is my passion and my hobby, but also my job. Working in the fashion industry off and on, but full time for the last 23 yrs. I’ve been making bags and teaching sewing for the last 7 yrs as well.
I’m also a mother, lover, partner, grandmother and friend and biggest ever fan of Christine Welsh and a fabric hoarder.
I'm a mom and granny, living amongst the woods and bayous on our farm in northeast Louisiana, USA. When I'm not tending my family and the critters on our farm, I'm in my studio or, as I enjoy saying, my happy place.
Sewing and creating are my expression, my therapy, my sharing with others, my heart and peace.
I'm an old school kinda gal who still gardens and cans, churns butter, hunts and fishes, and takes great pleasure in these arts and skills of bygone times.
I'm also an avid archer, and love snow skiing in the the Rocky Mountains of North America.
